Eye Street Awarded Subcontract for FEMA NIMS Support

CHANTILLY, VA - September 01, 2006 - The Justice and Safety Center at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) awarded Eye Street Software Corporation a 14 month subcontract in support of EKU’s National Incident Management System Support Center agreement with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Under the agreement, Eye Street will maintain and enhance the National Incident Management System Capability Assessment Tool (NIMCAST). Eye Street Software is a small, highly experienced technology solutions firm located in Northern Virginia. Eye Street originally built the NIMCAST application under a separate subcontract with FEMA.

The Justice and Safety Center at EKU was formed within the EKU College of Justice and Safety to provide education, research, and service to public safety and security agencies throughout the country. Their mission includes the advancement of public safety and security through research and evaluation, prototype development and testing, training, technical assistance, and the application of emerging technologies.
